Terms & Conditions

1)      A deposit of 20% is required to secure your dates and villa. 40% deposit 6 weeks before arrival, and the balance 40% is due upon arrival. We accept (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). Once your reservation is made via our secure reservations page or by telephone or fax, you will receive a receipt in 24 hours. You can also pay with cash upon arrival. Money orders can be sent to Gateway Real Estate Ltd, local cheques are to be written to Gateway Real Estate Ltd.

2)   The cancellation fee charged is 25% of payment once made before arrival. Cancellations/early departures done while here are non-refundable.

3)   Bookings made for less than 7 days, will require the full payment. Bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival will require a 60% deposit and balance due upon arrival.

4)   Please remember to bring your drivers license if you are hiring a vehicle. There is a fee of $20 U.S for a temporary local license. Click here for Vehicle rates. It is always wise to double check that you have written your correct email address to ensure possible contact. A receipt will be emailed to you within 24 hours of making reservation.

5)      There is a 5% tax charge to be included. Minimum stay is 5 nights.

6)   Full amount will be refunded in the event of a hurricane before arrival.

7)  It must be noted that though our rates are in U.S. dollars, the amount charged on any credit card must be converted into our local currency which is E.C. dollars. Conversion rate is 1 U.S. to 2.70 E.C. It is likely that your issuing bank will then have to convert that E.C. amount into the currency of your country which means there will be a slight change in U.S. amount. This does not mean that your card is overcharged by Gateway, this means that we are totally unaware of what currency conversion rate your issuing bank is using to convert into your country's currency. Also most banks charge a fee for currency conversion. (Be sure to check with your bank as to what the charged fee is).
